This library took our breath away. It was reconstructed with about 80% of the original pieces. This entire city of Ephesus was underground and the excavation began in 1952. There was a tunnel from the library to the brothel... so when the men went home at night and their wives asked them where they were, they replied that they were in the library... beware the library ladies!
